Year 2 Trip to Queen Elizabeth Country Park

On 21st June 2016 year 2 went to Queen Elizabeth Country Park to find out about different animals and their habitats. It was lovely sunny day and the children had a wonderful time exploring the long grass, woodlands and the pond. After lunch the children completed an animal orienteering course and there was even time to climb up a very steep to the top of the park. To quote the children ‘it was a fantastic school trip!’

Badger Class have been learning all about the Great Fire of London.

In their class assembly today, the children told us all about how the fire started and the damage that it did to London.

The children made cardboard houses and we set light to them in the Forest School area to see how quickly the fire would have spread!

Sport relief 2016

On Friday 18th March, which was Sport Relief Day, we raised more than £100; thank you for your donations.

We kicked off our Healthy Week with a whole day of exciting sports activities.

Each teacher organised an activity and all the classes moved around and tried them all. We learned new skills and had a lot of fun!
