Intent We aim for our children to gain a knowledge of the world around them and the beliefs of others as well as learning about some of the major religions. We want our children to be inquisitive learners who pose questions and are able to appreciate the awe and wonder of the world around them.

Implementation RE will be taught in a variety of ways and linked to the religious calendar. Artefacts and a variety of resources will be used to make the subject hands-on and engaging. Visits and Visitors will be used to give children a rich and varied experience as they learn about different religions. 

Impact: Children will be able to think about and pose questions about the wider world and big issues, as well as having a respect and appreciation of the views and beliefs of others.
